Description
The Bradbury is a 4-light chandelier built around a grey ash finished steel cage frame, with four E14 candle bulbs arranged vertically inside the cage structure. The frame forms an open sphere approximately 405mm in diameter, with curved ribs connecting at the top and bottom, and a horizontal ring around the middle supporting the four lamp holders.
Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above, the Bradbury provides ambient light through exposed bulbs that radiate in all directions. The 593mm minimum drop suits standard ceiling heights, while the 3075mm maximum drop accommodates double-height spaces or rooms with vaulted ceilings. The chain is adjustable on installation, allowing the chandelier to be set at the appropriate height above a dining table (typically 750-900mm clearance) or in a stairwell.
The grey ash finish is a muted charcoal grey with subtle warm undertones, sitting between industrial matt black and weathered steel in tone. It pairs comfortably with both warm and cool colour schemes, and bridges traditional chandelier forms with contemporary finishes. The open cage design keeps the fixture visually light despite the 513mm height, making it suitable for rooms where a solid brass or crystal chandelier would feel too heavy. Each E14 socket accepts bulbs up to 40W, giving flexibility to choose filament, LED or candle-shaped bulbs depending on the desired light character.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Bradbury take?
The chandelier uses four E14 small Edison screw bulbs, each rated up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K for a traditional look, or clear filament bulbs for a more industrial character.
What ceiling height is needed?
The 593mm minimum drop works in rooms with standard 2.4-2.6m ceilings when hung in an entrance hall or corner position. For dining tables, ceiling heights of 2.6m or above are recommended to maintain 750-900mm clearance between the table surface and the bottom of the chandelier.
Can the drop height be adjusted after installation?
The chain is adjusted during installation by removing links before wiring. Once installed, the chain cannot be easily shortened or lengthened without isolating the circuit and partially dismantling the fitting.
What style interiors does the grey ash finish suit?
The muted grey ash finish works across transitional, contemporary farmhouse, and industrial-leaning interiors. It pairs well with natural wood tones, white walls, exposed brick, and both warm and cool grey colour schemes, offering more versatility than traditional brass or black finishes.
