Description

The Bowi is an 8-light chandelier built around a geometric gold metal frame composed of overlapping rectangular cages arranged in a circular pattern. Each of the eight lights sits inside a clear cylindrical glass shade, with the bulb positioned at the centre of its own rectangular frame section. The frame is finished in a mid-tone gold with a satin sheen that softens reflections without the high polish of plated brass.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and double-height living spaces, the Bowi requires a ceiling height of at least 2.7m to accommodate the minimum 60.5cm drop. The chain is adjustable up to a maximum 143.5cm total drop, allowing the chandelier to be positioned 700-900mm above a dining table or lowered into a double-height space. The 87.5cm diameter suits rooms of 18-25m² where the chandelier can sit centrally without overwhelming the space. The chain can be removed entirely to convert the fitting into a semi-flush mount for lower ceilings.

Each light takes an E14 candle bulb up to 40W (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose LED, halogen or decorative filament bulbs depending on the required light output and aesthetic. The clear glass shades allow the bulb itself to be visible, so decorative flame-tip or exposed-filament E14 bulbs work particularly well. The geometric frame casts angular shadows onto walls and ceilings when lit, adding pattern to the room beyond the direct light from the bulbs.
