Description

This round bauble is a Christmas tree decoration dressed in deep navy blue, finished with a glossy navy ribbon bow, a ring of white pearl beads and an oval blue jewel at its heart. A band of gold-coloured trim in a leaf pattern wraps around the middle, with a fine line of small clear jewels running along it, and the centre jewel sits in an ornate gold-tone setting edged with more clear jewels inside its circle of pearls. A second, smaller oval blue jewel framed in clear jewels sits at the knot of the bow, where the gold-coloured hanging cord rises. It measures 9cm across and 7cm deep, a generous size that holds its own among smaller baubles.

It belongs on the Christmas tree, where the navy blue and gold catch the glow of fairy lights, but it is just as happy hung from a mantelpiece garland, an indoor wreath or a cluster of bare winter branches in a vase.
