Description
Our bouquet of dried tall thistle brings the rugged charm of a countryside verge indoors without any of the upkeep. This faux dried-look stem captures the papery, slightly bristled heads of a real thistle that has been left to fade in an autumn field, complete with the fine tapering spines and softly rounded seed heads. Standing at 60cm tall, it has genuine presence in a vase yet stays slim enough to slot into a mixed grouping. The white tone is muted and chalky rather than bright, echoing the way natural thistle bleaches out over a dry season.
Made from plastic, each stem holds its shape well and can be angled to suit your display. Group several together for a full, meadow-gathered feel, or use one or two amongst pampas, bunny tails and dried grasses to add height and a spiky contrast. The white heads sit comfortably against neutral ceramics, clear glass and rustic stoneware, working equally well in a hallway console, on a mantel or as part of a larger seasonal arrangement. The 12cm width and 12cm depth give it a naturally airy spread once positioned.
Care could not be simpler. There is no water needed and no wilting to worry about, so it will keep its look through every season. Dust occasionally with a soft brush or a gentle shake, and the bendable stems can be reshaped whenever you refresh your vases. Kept away from harsh direct sunlight, the white finish holds its colour for years.

Frequently Asked
Does it really look like a dried thistle?
Yes, the faux dried-look stem mimics the papery seed heads and fine spines of naturally dried thistle, with a chalky white tone that reads as authentically weathered rather than artificial.
How do I style it with other stems?
It mixes well with pampas, bunny tails and dried grasses. Add one or two for height and spiky texture, or gather several of our bouquet of dried tall thistle together for a fuller meadow look.
How do I clean and dust it?
Dust occasionally using a soft brush, a hairdryer on a cool low setting or a gentle shake outdoors. This keeps the heads looking crisp without any liquid.
Does it need water or any care?
No water is required at all. The stems are bendable, so you can reshape and rearrange them whenever you update your display.
Will it shed or fade over time?
The plastic construction means there is no shedding, and the white finish resists fading when kept out of strong, prolonged direct sunlight.
