Description
The Bosca is an 84mm x 54mm recessed outdoor wall light with an integrated 3W LED emitting warm 3000K light through a directional louvre set within a white powder-coated metal housing. The recessed design sits flush against the wall surface, creating a low-profile fitting that directs light downward or along a path without projecting into walkways.
Designed for pathways, steps, driveways and building perimeter lighting, the Bosca carries an IP65 rating, protecting the internal LED and driver from rain, windblown dust and garden irrigation spray. The 3W LED output provides enough illumination to define edges, mark changes in level, and light passage routes without overwhelming planted areas or creating harsh glare. The fitting recesses into a standard cavity, with the white faceplate sitting nearly level with the wall finish once installed.
The white powder-coated metal finish suits both contemporary rendered facades and traditional painted brickwork, blending into light-coloured walls while the warm 3000K LED colour temperature softens the light output against cool-toned exterior materials. The directional louvre controls the beam spread, keeping light concentrated on the area immediately below and in front of the fitting rather than spilling onto adjacent windows or walls. At 3W per fitting, multiple Bosca units can be installed along a pathway or staircase without significantly increasing electrical load.

Frequently Asked
What does the IP65 rating mean?
IP65 means the fitting is fully dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction. The Bosca can be installed in gardens, driveways, patios and other outdoor locations where it will be exposed to rain, irrigation spray and windblown dust.
What cavity depth is needed for installation?
The product manual (see Downloads tab) specifies the required recess depth. Most recessed outdoor wall lights of this size need a cavity depth of 60-80mm behind the wall surface to house the LED driver and mounting frame.
Can the light direction be adjusted?
The Bosca has a fixed directional louvre that aims light downward and forward from the wall. The beam angle and direction are set during manufacture and cannot be adjusted on installation.
Is it suitable for marking steps?
Yes. The 3W output and directional beam make the Bosca well-suited to marking step edges, changes in level, and pathway routes. Multiple fittings can be installed at intervals along a staircase or path to provide continuous visual guidance after dark.
