Description

The Bolla is a 9-light chandelier from Hinkley, built on a two-tier frame with curved brushed nickel arms radiating from a central column. Three etched glass bell shades sit on the upper tier, six on the lower, each housing an E27 bulb (sold separately, up to 60W per socket). The arms terminate in solid metal spheres that counterbalance the visual weight of the glass shades and add a distinct classical reference to the otherwise contemporary form.

Designed for large dining rooms, entrance halls and double-height living spaces, the 889mm diameter and 985mm body height suit ceiling heights of 2.7m or above. The chandelier drops from a chain-and-wire suspension adjustable between 1075mm and 4123mm on installation, allowing positioning over a dining table at 700-900mm from the table surface, or higher in a hallway where clearance is needed beneath. The brushed nickel finish presents as a warm grey-silver with low reflectivity, pairing comfortably with both warm and cool interior palettes.

The etched glass shades diffuse the light from each bulb to reduce glare and cast a soft ambient glow across the room. The two-tier arrangement distributes light both upwards and downwards from the chandelier body, filling vertical space in taller rooms.
