Description

The Boa is a 170cm LED floor lamp built around a continuous ribbon-form metal frame finished in sandblasted matt black. A 30W LED strip runs the length of the curved frame, diffused by a silicone opal cover that casts warm 3000K light across the surrounding space rather than projecting it in a single direction.

Designed as ambient lighting for living rooms, hallway corners, creative studios and contemporary bedrooms, the Boa provides visual presence without overwhelming a space. The serpentine curve of the frame adds sculptural dimension to minimal or monochrome interiors, and the 30cm base footprint allows the lamp to sit alongside furniture without requiring dedicated floor space. The matt black finish absorbs rather than reflects light, keeping focus on the glow of the LED ribbon itself.

The metal and aluminium construction gives the 2.91kg lamp sufficient weight to remain stable on bare floors and short-pile rugs. The opal silicone diffuser softens the LED output and prevents direct glare, making the Boa suitable for spaces where ambient illumination is needed without the harshness of exposed bulbs. Can the LED strip be replaced?

No. The LED strip is integrated into the frame and cannot be replaced. The lamp is designed for long-term use as a fixed-output unit with an expected LED lifespan of 25,000+ hours under typical residential use.

What spaces suit the Boa?

The 170cm height and ambient light output suit living rooms, bedrooms, hallway corners and creative studios where soft background lighting is needed. The sculptural form works best in contemporary or minimal interiors with high ceilings and open floor plans.

Is it stable on rugs?
