Description

The Blues is a tripod floor lamp built on three natural wood legs with a 480mm black fabric drum shade and a single E27 bulb fitting. The wood tripod base is height-adjustable via screw-tension joints on each leg, allowing the overall height to be set between approximately 1400mm and 1600mm depending on the leg splay. The black fabric shade diffuses light evenly in all directions, making this suitable for ambient lighting rather than focused task work.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and home offices where a mid-height ambient light source is needed without a fixed ceiling pendant, the Blues pairs the warmth of natural wood with the graphic simplicity of a black fabric drum. The tripod footprint varies with the leg splay but typically occupies around 600-700mm of floor space, stable on carpet, wood or tiled floors. The IP20 rating confirms this is an indoor-only fitting.

The wood legs are finished in a clear lacquer that shows the natural grain and tonal variation of the timber. The black fabric shade is opaque on the outside but has a lighter inner lining that reflects light back through the fabric, preventing harsh glare when the lamp is viewed from the side. The lamp accepts any standard E27 LED, halogen or filament bulb up to 60W (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose the colour temperature and brightness that suits the room. The lamp takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 8-12W and 2700K-3000K for ambient room lighting.

Can the height be adjusted?

Yes. The three wood legs adjust via screw-tension joints, allowing the overall height to be set between approximately 1400mm and 1600mm. The adjustment is made during assembly and is not designed for regular repositioning once the lamp is in use.

Is it dimmable?

The lamp itself is not fitted with a dimmer, but dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb you choose. If you fit a dimmable LED bulb and use a compatible wall dimmer or lamp-cord dimmer, the light output can be controlled.
