Description

The Blake is a single-light wall light with a polished brass arm and backplate paired with a clear glass hurricane shade. The fitting includes a 3W G9 LED bulb inside the glass, which softens the direct light output and creates a warm ambient glow suitable for bathrooms, hallways, bedrooms and dressing rooms. The IP44 rating protects the electrical components against water splashes, making the Blake safe to install in bathroom zones 2 and 3.

Designed for installation on walls at mirror height or as corridor lighting at 1.5-1.8m above finished floor level, the Blake projects 200mm from the wall with the glass shade adding a further 120mm width when viewed from the side. The curved arm positions the glass shade away from the wall, allowing light to spread upwards and sideways rather than being blocked by the mounting surface. The polished brass finish reflects ambient light during the day and integrates with brass taps, cabinet handles and mirror frames in bathrooms.

The glass hurricane shade is hand-blown with a flared opening at the top, presenting a traditional silhouette that suits both period properties and contemporary interiors with warm metallic accents. The solid brass construction gives the fitting a 0.8kg presence on the wall without requiring additional structural support beyond a standard UK back box. The G9 LED bulb is replaceable, allowing the fitting to be serviced without replacing the entire unit.
