Description

The Blake is a traditional wall light with a polished chrome backplate and arm supporting a fluted clear glass shade. The shade houses a 3W 3000K G9 LED bulb (included), which casts light through the textured glass to create soft ambient illumination. The fitting carries an IP44 rating, making it suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3 as well as general indoor locations.

At 340mm tall and projecting 215mm from the wall, the Blake suits bathroom mirrors, hallway alcoves and bedroom bedside positions where a compact wall light provides practical task or ambient light without taking floor space. The curved arm and ridged circular backplate give the fitting a classical profile that pairs with both traditional and transitional interiors, while the polished chrome finish reflects light and pairs cleanly with modern sanitaryware and taps.

Can the Blake be used in a bathroom?

Yes. The IP44 rating confirms the fitting is protected against splashing water from any direction, making it suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3. It should not be installed in zone 1 (directly above a bath or shower enclosure) or zone 0 (inside the bath or shower).

Is the LED bulb replaceable?

The Blake is supplied with a 3W G9 LED bulb. G9 bulbs are a standard fitting, so if the original LED fails after its rated lifespan, it can be replaced with any G9 LED or halogen bulb up to the maximum wattage specified.

What height should it be installed at?

For bathroom mirror lighting, mount the Blake 1600-1700mm from the floor (eye level for most users). For hallway or bedroom use, 1400-1600mm is typical. The 215mm projection means the fitting sits away from the wall, so allow clearance for doors and furniture.
