Our fireside companion set keeps the essential hearth tools together in one tidy grouping, ready beside the fire whenever you need them. Finished in black metal, the set carries the quietly practical look that suits a working fireplace, with a poker, brush, shovel and tongs hanging from a central stand. At 41cm tall and 12cm square across the base, it sits neatly against a chimney breast or to one side of the grate without dominating the room.

As a fireside accessory it earns its place through daily use, but it also finishes the look of a hearth. The matt black tone works with cast-iron stoves, brick surrounds and painted timber mantels alike, and it settles comfortably into both period cottages and more pared-back modern rooms.
