The brass frame holds four vertical mullions that divide the glass into sections, and the seeded glass itself has an intentional texture of air bubbles and irregularities that scatter the light from the candelabra bulbs inside.

Designed for installation on exterior walls next to front doors, garage entrances, covered porches and garden walls with overhead protection, the Bingham carries an IP44 rating for splashproof performance. The 260mm projection from the wall and the 203mm width suit larger entrance areas and traditional-style properties where the lantern needs to hold visual weight against brick, stone or timber cladding. The aged brass finish develops a natural patina over time when exposed to weather, darkening in tone and adding to the period aesthetic.

The solid brass construction gives the Bingham a substantial build quality that resists corrosion in coastal and high-humidity locations.
