Description

This stoneware mug has a cheerful illustrated design on a pale pink ground, with the words BIG HAIR, WARM HEART, HOT TEA printed in bold black capitals around its base. A smiling woman with big blonde hair, dressed in white, plays a white acoustic guitar inside a pink circle, and a gold glitter-effect cap on top turns that circle into a bauble. Strings of fairy lights with red, green, pink and white bulbs loop around her, scattered with gold, red, teal and white stars. The handle and the inside are bright red, a lively frame for the pink. It holds 11oz and stands 9.8cm tall, 12cm wide and 8.5cm deep.

With 11oz to fill, it holds a generous mug of tea or coffee, and we think it earns its place by the kettle, on a desk at work or beside the sofa on a cold evening. The portrait appears on both sides, so the mug looks just as cheerful whichever way it sits on the shelf, and the slogan runs right round the base.
