Description

The Bevton is a bathroom wall light with a gently curved arm and an ivory fabric shade, rated IP44 for use in bathrooms. It measures 250mm high, 150mm wide and projects 240mm from the wall, and weighs 0.5kg. A single G9 bulb up to 3W sits behind the shade, and it works with G9 LED bulbs. An easy-reach pull cord switches it on and off, which is handy where a wall switch would sit too close to water.

Its IP44 rating and pull cord make the Bevton a practical bathroom light, fitted beside a mirror or above a basin in zone 2. The ivory fabric shade keeps the light soft and warm rather than harsh, which suits a bathroom you relax in as well as one you get ready in. The curved arm gives it a neat, considered shape, so it also works in a cloakroom or an ensuite where space is tight.

The metalwork comes in chrome or satin brass, each with the same ivory fabric shade. As a Class 1 earthed fitting it must be connected to the mains earth, and its IP44 rating means it is protected against splashing water for bathroom zone 2. Wipe the metal with a soft dry cloth and dust the shade lightly, and check the fitting suits your bathroom zone before installing. Matching pieces are available in the range for a co-ordinated bathroom scheme.
