Description

This cheerful scented candle comes in a clear round jar, its creamy white top scattered with little flowers and hearts in red, orange, yellow, pink, lilac and mint. A soft pink label on the front, marked with a fine grid and a few tiny hearts, reads BEST MUM EVER in bright rounded letters. The candle stands 6cm tall and measures 8cm wide and 9cm deep, a compact size that fits a bedside table or a narrow shelf without crowding it. We love how the toppers look when you glance down: a pale pink rose, little flowers with white centres and chunky pastel hearts circle a single wick in the middle.

We think it makes a thoughtful Mother's Day gift for your mum, with the message doing the talking before the wrapping paper is even folded away. Set it on her bedside table for a quiet evening with a book, on a dressing table, or on a living room shelf where the flowers and hearts add a little colour to the room. Because the label stays on the jar, the words keep reminding her how much she means to you every time she lights it. Its compact size also tucks neatly into a gift box or a basket of other treats.

The scented candle has a single wick set in the centre, with the flower and heart toppers sitting on the surface around it. As with any candle, burn it on a stable, level surface away from draughts, curtains, children and pets, and never leave a burning candle unattended. Between uses, dust the outside of the jar with a soft dry cloth to keep the label and the clear sides looking fresh. For gifting, we like to wrap it in tissue with a handwritten card, so the BEST MUM EVER label is the first thing she sees when she lifts it out.
