Beso 1 Light Mini Pendant - Dark Bronze

The Beso is a 179mm diameter mini pendant built from spun steel in a dark bronze finish with a copper accent band around the neck. A single E27 lampholder sits inside the bulbous lower shade, which tapers to a narrow stem before meeting the ceiling rose. The interior is painted white to maximise light reflection downwards, making this a task light rather than ambient.

Designed for kitchen worktops, breakfast bars, dining tables and commercial counter areas, the Beso provides focused downlight through a 60W maximum E27 bulb (sold separately). The 4.5m black cord is height-adjustable on installation, allowing the pendant to be set anywhere from 281mm to 4853mm drop depending on ceiling height and required working distance. Most installations over a kitchen island sit at 700-900mm above the worktop.

The dark bronze spun steel body contrasts with the copper band to give a two-tone mid-century profile that reads differently depending on viewing angle and light. The 179mm diameter keeps the pendant compact enough for single installation over a small table or in multiples spaced 400-500mm apart over a longer island. The white interior reflects the bulb output efficiently, so a 6-8W warm LED typically provides enough task light for food prep or reading.

What bulb does the Beso take?

The pendant takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a 6-8W warm-white LED at 2700K-3000K for task lighting over kitchen worktops or dining tables.

How is the drop adjusted?

The 4.5m black cord is cut to length during installation and cannot be adjusted afterwards without re-wiring. The minimum drop of 281mm assumes the cord is cut very short; the maximum drop of 4853mm uses the full length. For a typical kitchen island the pendant is usually set to hang 700-900mm above the worktop.

Can multiple Beso pendants be installed together?

Yes. The compact 179mm diameter makes the Beso well-suited to grouped installation over longer kitchen islands or dining tables. Three pendants spaced 400-500mm apart typically cover a 1.8-2.4m island length without visual crowding.
