Description
The BENO is a square LED ceiling light fitted with a built-in PIR motion sensor, switching power between 12W and 18W to suit the setting. It delivers up to 2000 lumens across a wide 110 degree spread and is colour selectable, switching between 3000K, 3500K and 4000K so the tone can be set warm or neutral. North American buyers will recognise this format as a compact square flush mount LED ceiling light, sitting close to the surface rather than hanging on a pendant.
Measuring 220 by 220mm and just 57mm deep, the BENO suits porches, entrances, stairwells, garages and outdoor utility areas where hands-free switching is useful. Its output covers around 6 to 7 m² at general lighting levels, making it well matched to a small lobby, landing or covered doorway. The integrated sensor turns the light on as you approach, which is handy at thresholds and along routes used after dark. The shallow profile keeps it discreet on lower ceilings and on walls beside doors.
Built from white polycarbonate, the BENO carries an IP65 rating, so it is sealed against dust and water jets and rated for exposed outdoor and wet locations. It mounts directly to a wall or ceiling as an integrated fitting with no replaceable bulb, and it is not dimmable. The fixed CRI Ra 80 output and 50,000 hour rated lifespan keep maintenance low. Other PIR and standard fittings sit alongside it in the wider Niori range.

Frequently Asked
Can the BENO be used outdoors?
Yes. It carries an IP65 rating, which means it is sealed against dust and protected from water jets. This makes it suitable for exposed outdoor positions, porches, covered entrances and damp utility areas.
How does the motion sensor work?
The built-in PIR sensor detects movement and switches the light on automatically as you approach, then off again after a set period. This suits entrances, stairwells and garages where hands-free lighting is useful at night.
What size room does it suit?
With up to 2000 lumens, the BENO covers around 6 to 7 m² at general lighting levels. That makes it a good fit for a small lobby, landing, porch or covered doorway rather than a large open room.
How do I clean the BENO?
Wipe the white polycarbonate cover with a soft, slightly damp cloth and let it dry fully. Avoid abrasive pads or solvents, and isolate the supply before cleaning to keep the IP65 seal intact.
