Description

The Belvedere is a 2.04m tall shelving unit built on an aged gold iron frame with four tinted glass shelves, a white Banswara marble top, and a two-door storage cabinet at the base. The oval-profile shelves graduate in size from top to bottom, following the curved outline of the cabinet below, with the iron frame rising vertically through the centre to support the structure.

Designed for living rooms, studies and dining rooms where wall-mounting is not an option or where freestanding furniture is preferred, the unit provides open display space on the glass shelves and concealed storage behind the two cabinet doors. The 134cm width suits alcoves, chimney breasts and positions flanking windows where a tall narrow bookcase would appear cramped. The aged gold finish on the iron provides a warmer metallic tone than polished brass or chrome, pairing with both neutral and rich-toned interiors.

The Banswara marble top shows natural grey veining on a white base, typical of this Indian marble variety. Each piece of marble differs in vein density and tonal variation. The tinted glass shelves are smoked rather than clear, reducing visibility of shelf brackets and adding depth when the unit is viewed from the side.
