Description

The Bellorin is a single-pendant light built around a 300mm-tall tapered shade cut from natural Spanish alabaster, suspended on a black fabric flex from a brushed brass ceiling rose. A brushed brass collar caps the top of the shade where the lampholder sits, taking a single E27 bulb (sold separately). The shade widens subtly from a narrow shoulder to a fuller base, giving the pendant a pinched, vase-like silhouette.

Sized for use over kitchen islands as part of a multi-pendant run, above breakfast bars, or singly above a bedside table, console or stairwell. The 180mm diameter keeps the footprint compact, so two or three Bellorins can be hung in a line over a 1.8-2.4m island without the shades visually crowding each other. The flex length allows the pendant to be hung at the installer's chosen drop, typically 700-800mm above a worktop.

Each shade is cut from a single block of natural alabaster, so the veining, cloudy patches and tonal variation differ between pieces. Lit, the alabaster glows warmly and the internal mineral structure becomes visible through the stone; unlit, the shade reads as a soft off-white sculptural form with quiet veining on the surface. The brushed brass collar and ceiling rose share the same satin finish, keeping the metalwork visually consistent from cord drop to lampholder.

No. Each shade is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, cloudy areas and tonal variation differ between pieces. This is a property of the natural stone rather than a defect, and it becomes more visible once the bulb is switched on.
