Description

The Bayview is a medium-sized outdoor wall lantern built around a tapered aluminium frame with clear bevelled glass panels and a single E27 bulb fitting. The black powder-coated finish covers the cast aluminium body, wall bracket and decorative scroll arm, while the clear glass sits within beaded frames that reference Georgian coach lamp detailing.

Designed for porches, front door flanking, garage entrances and patio walls, the lantern carries an IP44 rating for protection against solid objects above 1mm and water splashing from any direction. The medium size suits walls with 2.4-3m heights where a smaller lantern would look lost and a larger one would dominate. The E27 bulb fitting accepts LED, halogen or traditional filament bulbs up to 60W (sold separately), allowing control over light colour temperature and brightness.

The bevelled glass panels direct light outward and downward while the clear glazing preserves bulb visibility, so decorative filament bulbs show through the lantern when viewed from street level. The aluminium construction resists corrosion in coastal and wet climates, and the black finish hides minor surface marks that accumulate on lighter-coloured outdoor fittings over time.
