Description

A wide, shallow drum in taupe faux silk sits close to the ceiling, its inner face lined in halo gold so the light picks up a warm cast on its way down. A frosted acrylic diffuser closes the underside, softening the three lamps inside and keeping the glow even across the fabric. At 60cm across it reads as a broad, calm circle rather than a hanging shape, and the low profile keeps it clear of head height. Taupe stays quiet against a painted ceiling, while the gold lining stops the inside of the shade going flat.

This is one we suggest for rooms where a pendant would be in the way: a landing, a hall with a low ceiling, a bedroom, or a kitchen-diner that needs general light rather than a focal point. It suits a space that wants light spread evenly instead of pooled in one spot.
