Description

Three shades hang in a line from a slim polished chrome bar, each one a dual faux silk drum in Raw Cocoa with a Grecian Bronze inner. The shades are 30cm across, wide enough to throw a soft, warm wash downwards while the bronze lining adds a little depth to the colour. Each position takes an E27 lamp, and we would fit GLS A60 LEDs so the line reads evenly from end to end.

The length suits a dining table or a kitchen island, where one central pendant tends to leave the ends of the table in shadow. The suspension adjusts over a wide span, so it can hang low above a table top or ride higher in a room with a tall ceiling. It will dim, given suitable lamps and a compatible dimmer, which earns its keep where the same table does homework in the afternoon and dinner in the evening. Keep each lamp to 20W or under.

The bar and fittings carry a bright polished chrome finish, and the fabric shades are made to sit square in a row beneath it. This one belongs in dry indoor rooms, well away from splashes and steam. For cleaning, a dry cloth over the chrome and a soft brush drawn lightly across the faux silk is all it asks; keep water and sprays off the fabric. It carries a one year warranty. The Baymont name runs across a good number of fittings we stock, including flush ceiling versions in white and in polished chrome, and the same Raw Cocoa and Grecian Bronze shade appears on those too, so a hallway and a dining room can be kept in step.
