The Basmorne is a round flush ceiling light: a compact cylinder of aluminium, finished in white on the outside with a silver-leaf lining within the shade. It stands 12cm tall with a diameter of 10cm, so it sits close to the ceiling without taking much room overhead. It takes a single GU10 bulb, which is not included, so you choose the brightness and colour of light that suits the room. Its IP20 rating means it is made for indoor living spaces such as hallways, landings, bedrooms and living rooms.

Because it is so compact, this flush ceiling light works well where a pendant would hang too low: a narrow hallway, a landing, a low-ceilinged bedroom or a study.
