Description

The Basketball is a 300mm wide wall light shaped as a basketball hoop with a frosted glass sphere sitting inside a matt white metal net. The E27 socket sits inside the sphere, casting diffused light through the frosted glass and between the gaps in the metal net framework. The hoop ring and net strands are formed from powder-coated metal finished in matt white.

Designed for bedrooms, playrooms, home gyms and creative office spaces, the Basketball works as both a functional wall light and a decorative accent in rooms with sport or youth culture themes. The 320mm projection from the wall positions the light source well forward from the mounting surface, casting light outward and downward rather than straight up or down. The fitting mounts to a standard UK back plate and requires one E27 bulb (sold separately).

The matt white powder coat gives a clean, neutral finish that pairs with white walls, light wood furniture and bright accent colours common in children's and teen bedrooms. The metal net strands are rigid and pre-formed to hold their shape, so the net does not flex or sag when the fitting is mounted.
