Description

The Basis is an L-shaped corner track light designed specifically for Maytoni's Magnetic Exility track system, with an integrated 24W LED module casting warm 3000K light from both arms of the corner. Each arm measures 302mm, forming a right-angled junction that fits into the corner of a magnetic track run. The matt black aluminium housing contains the LED driver and diffuser panels, delivering continuous light output along both edges of the L-shape.

Designed for ceiling-mounted track installations in retail, hospitality and residential spaces where the track route turns a corner, the Basis solves the problem of dark zones at the junction between two perpendicular track runs. The 24W output across the two arms provides approximately 2,000-2,400 lumens total (manufacturer spec dependent), distributed evenly along the length of both edges. The fixture runs on DC 48V supplied by the Magnetic Exility track system, so it clips directly onto the track without separate wiring or external drivers.

The black aluminium construction is lightweight and dissipates heat effectively across the 44mm depth of the housing, keeping the LED junction temperatures within safe operating limits. No. The Basis is designed exclusively for Maytoni's Magnetic Exility track system, which runs on DC 48V. It will not fit or operate on standard mains-voltage track systems or other manufacturers' magnetic track rails.
