The Basis Grid is a 22cm linear LED track light designed for Maytoni's Radity magnetic track system. The fitting houses an integrated 12W LED delivering 3000K warm white light through a black aluminium body with an open grid structure running the length of the underside. The grid acts as both diffuser and visual detail, directing light downwards while breaking up the beam into soft parallel lines.

Designed for accent lighting in residential and commercial settings, the Basis Grid mounts onto Maytoni's 48V DC magnetic track rails, allowing repositioning along the track length without tools or re-wiring. The 22cm linear form suits narrow architectural features, corridor lighting, kitchen worktop illumination, and highlighting wall-hung art or shelving runs where a traditional spotlight would be too concentrated. Multiple units can be spaced along a single track to build continuous linear lighting schemes.

The black powder-coated aluminium body measures just 29mm high and 26mm wide, giving a low-profile ceiling presence that suits modern and industrial interiors. Can this be fitted to standard ceiling track lighting?

No. The Basis Grid is designed exclusively for Maytoni's Radity magnetic track system operating at 48V DC. It cannot be used with standard 230V mains track lighting such as three-circuit or single-circuit track systems.

Can the light be repositioned once fitted?

Yes. The magnetic mounting allows the light to be moved along the Radity track length without tools. Power is transferred magnetically, so there are no physical connectors to disconnect when repositioning.

What does the grid structure do?

The open grid running along the underside of the fitting acts as a diffuser, breaking the LED light into soft parallel lines and directing it downwards. It also adds visible mechanical detail to the fitting when viewed from below.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The unit carries a 5-year manufacturer's warranty covering LED failure.
