Description

The Basis CCT is a corner-profile linear track light built for the Maytoni Magnetic Exility track system, delivering 24W LED output with adjustable colour temperature from 3000K warm white to 6000K cool white. The 90-degree aluminium corner section measures 302mm along each arm and sits 44mm from the ceiling when mounted, creating right-angle light runs along wall-ceiling junctions or across ceiling corners.

Designed for commercial, retail and residential spaces that use the Magnetic Exility modular track system, the corner section allows continuous LED strips to turn 90 degrees without visible joins or dark spots. Bluetooth Mesh control via smartphone app adjusts both dimming level and colour temperature without requiring additional wall controllers or hard-wired dimmers. The track runs on 48V DC power supplied by the system's transformer, with each corner section drawing 24W at full output.

The matt black aluminium housing provides a low-profile contemporary finish that recedes visually against dark ceilings or contrasts cleanly against white. The IP20 rating suits dry interior environments including offices, galleries, living rooms and bedrooms. The corner profile integrates with straight track sections, allowing linear runs to navigate around architectural features or create geometric patterns across ceilings. Maytoni backs the Basis CCT with a 3-year manufacturer's guarantee.

Frequently Asked

What is the Magnetic Exility system?

Magnetic Exility is Maytoni's modular 48V DC track lighting system. It uses magnetic attachment for easy installation and reconfiguration of linear LED sections, allowing you to build custom lighting layouts using straight tracks, corner sections, and connectors without hard-wiring each piece.

How is the colour temperature adjusted?

The Basis CCT is controlled via Bluetooth Mesh using a smartphone app. The app allows you to adjust both dimming level and colour temperature from 3000K warm white to 6000K cool white. No additional wall controller or dimmer switch is required.

Can this be used as a standalone light?

No. The Basis CCT corner section requires the Magnetic Exility track system, including the 48V DC transformer and mounting track. It cannot operate independently or on standard 230V mains power.

What happens at the corner joint?

The corner profile allows the LED strip to turn 90 degrees continuously, maintaining consistent light output through the bend. There are no dark spots or visible joins at the corner when installed correctly within the Magnetic Exility track system.
