Description

The Basis Angle is a 302mm L-shaped corner track light designed for Maytoni's Magnetic Exility track lighting system, fitted with an integrated 24W 3000K LED strip along both arms of the L-profile. The white powder-coated aluminium body forms a right-angle junction piece that bridges two perpendicular runs of track, maintaining continuous light output around the corner without a gap or break in illumination.

Designed for residential kitchens, retail displays, and commercial spaces where track lighting needs to follow the perimeter of a room or showcase area, the Basis Angle solves the problem of lighting corners without needing separate spotlight heads or junction boxes. The magnetic mounting system allows the corner piece to be positioned anywhere along the Exility track run, and the integrated LED means no separate lamp purchase is needed. The DC 48V low-voltage system runs through the track itself, with the transformer and driver housed remotely.

Is the Basis Angle compatible with standard track lighting systems?

No. The Basis Angle is designed exclusively for Maytoni's Magnetic Exility track system and uses a DC 48V low-voltage magnetic mounting protocol. It will not fit standard mains-voltage track systems from other manufacturers.

Can the corner piece be used on its own without track?

No. The Basis Angle requires the Magnetic Exility track to provide both the DC 48V power supply and the physical mounting surface. The track system includes a separate transformer/driver unit that converts mains voltage to DC 48V.

Is the LED replaceable?

The LED strip is integrated into the aluminium profile and is not user-replaceable. The 5-year warranty covers LED failure, and the rated lifespan of the LED is typically 30,000+ hours at 3000K.
