The Basic Form is a 3-light cluster pendant from Maytoni combining three white opal glass globes suspended from a matt black circular ceiling plate. Each globe hangs on its own black fabric-covered cable at a different height, creating a staggered vertical arrangement. The globes house E14 bulbs (sold separately), with the opal glass diffusing direct glare and casting soft ambient light in all directions.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and hallway installations in rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m, the Basic Form delivers functional overhead light without harsh downward beams. Can the drop height be adjusted after installation?

Yes, but adjustment happens during installation rather than as a daily feature. The fabric cables can be shortened or lengthened at the ceiling plate fixing point to set the pendant at the required height within the 52.5-222.5cm range. Once installed, the height remains fixed unless you re-open the ceiling plate.

What ceiling height is needed?

The pendant works in rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m.
