Designed for kitchens, dining tables and breakfast bars where focused overhead light is needed, the cone shape narrows the beam to concentrate illumination on worktops or table surfaces below. The adjustable drop allows the pendant to hang anywhere from 38cm to 318cm below the ceiling, which accommodates installation over kitchen islands in rooms with standard 2.4m ceilings as well as vaulted ceilings or double-height spaces. The E27 fitting accepts standard screw bulbs up to 40W, giving flexibility to choose LED, halogen or filament bulbs depending on the desired light temperature and energy efficiency.

What bulb does it take?

The pendant uses a standard E27 screw bulb up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for kitchen or dining applications.

How low can it hang over a kitchen island?

The drop is adjustable between 38cm and 318cm. For a typical kitchen island or dining table, the pendant is usually hung 70-80cm above the worktop or table surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher. The cord can be shortened during installation to suit lower ceilings.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is not protected against moisture ingress and should only be used in dry indoor locations. Bathrooms require IP44 or higher depending on the zone.

Can it be wall-mounted?

Yes. Maytoni includes a hook, an additional base and a metal mounting element in the box, allowing the fitting to be adapted for wall mounting as a directional side light if needed.
