Description

The Basfor is a 30cm flush-mount crystal ceiling light with three E14 bulb sockets set within a gold-plated metal frame. The frame holds rows of faceted crystal droplets arranged in concentric rings around a central bowl, with a single large crystal sphere suspended beneath the fitting as a drop detail. Each crystal is diamond-cut to refract light outward and downward when the bulbs are lit.

Designed for rooms with low ceilings where a pendant would hang too low, the Basfor sits 18cm proud of the ceiling surface when installed, making it suitable for 2.3-2.5m ceiling heights in dining rooms, bedrooms, entrance halls and landings. The three E14 bulbs (sold separately) provide ambient light across a 12-16m² area depending on bulb brightness and ceiling colour. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations only.

The gold plating on the metal frame is applied by electroplating, giving a warm metallic tone that pairs with brass door furniture, warm timber finishes and warm-toned wall colours. The crystals themselves are cut glass rather than acrylic, so they maintain clarity under heat and do not discolour over time.
