Description

The Basel is an outdoor wall light with a silver-finish metal frame surrounding a clear glass cylinder, housing a single E27 bulb fitting (bulb sold separately). The IP54 rating protects against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction, making it suitable for exterior walls, covered porches, and pathway lighting exposed to British weather.

Designed for domestic porches, garage entries, and garden pathways where directional wall-mounted light is needed, the Basel mounts on a standard UK back box and projects 120mm from the wall once fitted. The 310mm height and clear glass allow the light to spread both upward and downward along the wall plane, useful for illuminating steps or highlighting architectural features near doorways. The E27 fitting accepts any standard Edison screw bulb up to 60W, including dimmable LED bulbs when paired with a compatible outdoor-rated dimmer.

The silver finish is a powder-coated aluminium that resists corrosion in coastal and high-moisture environments better than painted mild steel.
