Description
This miniature mantel clock is a little barbecue grill on wheels, finished in glossy black and silver and small enough to sit in the palm of your hand. The domed black lid lifts up to show a clean white dial set in a silver frame, with clear numerals at twelve, three, six and nine and slim silver hands. Close the lid and it becomes a tiny grill again. It has a handle across the top, a side shelf at one end and a rail handle at the other, a lower shelf between the legs and four black wheels. It stands 5.5cm high, 7.2cm wide and 4cm deep.
Because it is so compact, we like it in spots where a full-size clock never could go: the end of a mantelpiece, a narrow bookshelf, a bedside table or the corner of a desk. The grill shape brings a sense of humour to a room without taking over. Being so small, it sits happily among books, photo frames and other small treasures. It makes a cheerful gift with a little wit to it, a clock that earns a smile every time someone lifts the lid to check the hour.
The clock runs on one LR66 battery, and the battery is included, so it is ready to set from the box. The glossy black body and lid sit on a bright silver frame, with screw details picked out on the shelves and wheels that add to the model's character. To keep it looking its best, dust it now and then with a soft dry cloth and keep it away from damp. Stand it with the lid open so the dial faces the room. Or leave it closed on a shelf as a playful ornament and open it whenever you want the time.

Frequently Asked
How big is this miniature barbecue clock?
It stands 5.5cm high, 7.2cm wide and 4cm deep, so it is small enough for a mantelpiece, a narrow shelf or a busy desk.
What battery does the clock take, and is it included?
It runs on one LR66 battery, and that battery is included, so the clock is ready to set and use straight from the box.
Does the barbecue lid open?
Yes. The domed black lid lifts up to show the white clock dial inside the grill, and it closes again so the piece looks like a tiny barbecue.
What colours is the clock?
The grill body and lid are glossy black. The frame, side shelf, handles and lower shelf are silver, and the four wheels are black.
How should I look after it?
Dust it now and then with a soft dry cloth and keep it away from water and damp, so the glossy finish and the clock stay at their best.
Where does it look best in the home?
It sits well on a mantelpiece, bookshelf, desk or bedside table. It suits anywhere a small clock with a sense of fun will be seen and enjoyed.
