Bar Outdoor LED Downlight 7W 3000K - Graphite

The Maytoni Bar is a 90mm diameter surface-mounted outdoor downlight with an integrated 7W LED emitting warm 3000K light through a recessed honeycomb diffuser. The cylindrical body is formed from metal finished in graphite, with a sealed internal chamber that achieves IP65 protection against dust ingress and water jets from any direction.

Designed for exterior surface mounting on soffits, porch ceilings, covered entrance areas and garden structure beams, the Bar delivers focused downward illumination suitable for pathway lighting, doorway accent, and architectural feature highlighting. The 115mm height projects from the ceiling, making it suitable for installation on overhead beams, pergola structures and low soffits where recessed fittings cannot be cut in. The 100-240V AC input allows installation on standard UK and international mains.

The graphite powder-coat finish resists corrosion in coastal and high-moisture environments and sits visually neutral against most exterior materials including timber cladding, painted render, brick and stone. The honeycomb diffuser inside the downward aperture reduces glare while maintaining light output, directing the beam downwards without spill into horizontal sightlines. At 7W power draw the LED consumes approximately 84% less energy than a 60W halogen equivalent while producing comparable lumen output.

The fitting is installed by mounting directly to the ceiling surface with fixings through the base plate, then connecting to mains wiring inside the sealed chamber before clipping the outer cylinder in place. The IP65 rating maintains integrity in rain, snow, and high-pressure cleaning scenarios, making the Bar suitable for year-round installation in exposed positions. Maytoni supplies a 3-year manufacturer guarantee covering LED module failure and body integrity.

Product Manual

Can this be used in fully exposed outdoor positions?

Yes. The IP65 rating means the fitting is protected against dust and water jets from any direction. It can be installed in positions exposed to rain, snow and high-pressure cleaning.

What mounting surface is required?

The Bar surface-mounts directly to the ceiling or soffit. The base plate requires a solid mounting surface such as timber, masonry or metal beam to accept fixing screws. It cannot be recessed into the ceiling.

Is the LED replaceable?

The LED module is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The 3-year manufacturer guarantee covers LED module failure within the warranty period.

What beam angle does it produce?

The honeycomb diffuser creates a focused downward beam with minimal horizontal spill. The exact beam angle is not specified in the product data, but the diffuser design indicates a narrow to medium beam suitable for accent lighting rather than wide-area flood illumination.
