Banyan sets five candle lamps on a multi arm frame in champagne gold, then wraps the whole arrangement in one broad faux silk drum shade in ivory pearl. How do I clean the faux silk?

A soft brush or a vacuum upholstery tool, used lightly, is enough. Avoid sprays and damp cloths on the fabric; a dry cloth is fine for the gold arms.

Is it suitable for a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20 and made for dry rooms such as dining rooms, bedrooms and hallways.
