Description

Three slim arms sweep out from a central stem and turn upward, each ending in a lamp holder set beneath one wide fabric shade. That shade is faux silk in grey, lined in white so the light bouncing back down stays clean and bright, and it measures 45cm across. The metalwork is finished in champagne gold, a soft warm tone sitting somewhere between brass and pale bronze. The drop adjusts, so the shade can sit fairly close to the ceiling or hang well down over a table.

We reach for this one where a room wants a broad, soft pool of light rather than a narrow beam: above a dining table, in a hallway with decent ceiling height, or centred over a bedroom floor. Candle lamps tucked behind fabric spread more evenly than a single bulb of the same output, and the shade keeps glare off the eye when you are seated underneath. It takes E14 candle lamps, and dimmable ones will respond if there is a dimmer on the circuit.

The shade is laminate lined with the faux silk laid over it, and the arms and stem are metal throughout. Dust with a soft brush or the upholstery head on a vacuum, working lightly across the weave rather than pressing into it, and lift any marks on the metal with a barely damp cloth, drying it off at once. Nothing here wants polish or solvent. It carries a one year warranty.
