Description

The Bangkok is a 40cm pendant light combining a smoky grey glass dome shade with a black metal canopy and three stacked glass spheres suspended on a slender black cable. An integrated 12W LED inside the dome casts warm 3000K light through the tinted glass, diffusing a soft downward glow while the spheres add decorative detail above the shade.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and living room seating areas, the Bangkok pairs ambient lighting with architectural detail. The 40cm diameter dome provides adequate light spread for tables up to 1.6m long or kitchen islands where one or two pendants can be grouped. The adjustable cable offers installation flexibility from 67.9cm minimum drop up to 358cm maximum, allowing the pendant to be set at the correct height above a worktop (typically 70-80cm) or dining table (typically 75-90cm) depending on ceiling height.

The smoky glass dome is mouth-blown with a consistent grey tint that softens and warms the LED output without blocking it entirely. When lit, the glass takes on a translucent bronze tone, while unlit it reads as a neutral grey-black that blends into darker interiors. The three stacked spheres above the dome are clear glass with a subtle smoke gradient, adding vertical interest between the canopy and the shade. The black powder-coated metal canopy and cable run provide a clean monochrome finish that pairs with industrial, contemporary and minimalist interiors.

The IP20 rating restricts the Bangkok to dry indoor locations only. The integrated LED cannot be replaced, but the 12W output at 3000K provides warm white light comparable to a 60-75W incandescent bulb and the LED module is rated for 25,000+ hours of use.
