Description

The Balbarne is a 3 light ceiling light in light grey and brown, made from steel and wood. Three light grey drum shades hang from a long brown wooden bar, which sits beneath a slim light grey ceiling canopy. It measures 91cm long, 19cm wide and 25.5cm high, so it covers a good stretch of ceiling without hanging low into the room. Each shade takes an E27 bulb of up to 40W. The bulbs are not included, so you choose the colour and warmth of light yourself. It is rated IP20, which means it is made for indoor rooms that stay dry.

With three shades in a line, it suits a long space: a hallway or landing, a dining table, or a kitchen island where you want light spread evenly along its length. We like the light grey and brown pairing because it is gentle and neutral, sitting comfortably with pale walls, white woodwork and oak or pine furniture. The warm wood bar softens the cool grey and gives the fitting a relaxed, natural feel that works in modern and cottage homes alike.
