Description

The Balance is a single-light wall fitting with a brown fabric drum shade suspended from a polished brass arm. The arm extends from a circular backplate and holds the shade at an angle, creating an adjustable spotlight effect. The shade houses an E27 bulb fitting (sold separately) behind an acrylic diffuser, with a white laminate inner lining that reflects light back through the fabric.

Designed for bedrooms, living rooms and hallways where soft accent lighting is needed without a ceiling pendant, the Balance pairs ambient and decorative function. The angled arm allows the shade to be positioned to direct light onto a wall, towards a reading chair, or down onto a console table. The polished brass finish on the arm and backplate adds warmth to mid-century, transitional and contemporary interiors, while the brown fabric shade softens the overall look.

The drum shade measures approximately 180mm in diameter and 200mm in height, giving enough presence on the wall without overwhelming smaller rooms. The combination of brown fabric and polished brass works particularly well in spaces with warm timber furniture, leather upholstery or neutral wall tones. The acrylic diffuser prevents glare from the bulb when viewed from the side, making the fitting comfortable to use in seated positions near eye level.
