Description

The Bachelor is a 220mm square outdoor LED wall light with an anthracite die-cast aluminium frame surrounding an opal white polycarbonate diffuser. A 14W integrated LED sits behind the diffuser, producing 1180 lumens at 3000K warm white across a 122° beam angle. The IP65 rating protects the internal components from dust ingress and water jets, making it suitable for exposed wall mounting on exterior facades, under eaves, beside doorways, and on covered porches.

Designed for both wall and ceiling mounting, the Bachelor provides ambient downlight or wall-wash light depending on orientation. On a wall it casts a soft glow downward and to the sides, useful for illuminating pathways, steps, or seating areas adjacent to a building. Ceiling-mounted it provides general area light for covered outdoor spaces such as pergolas, carports or canopies. The 82mm projection from the wall keeps the fitting close to the building line without protruding into circulation space.

The anthracite powder-coated finish is a charcoal grey tone that sits between black and mid-grey, pairing with both dark masonry and lighter render finishes. The aluminium frame forms a shallow box profile with visible fixing screws at each corner, reflecting the functional aesthetic common to Mantra's outdoor range. At 1.66kg the fitting has enough mass to feel solidly made without requiring structural wall reinforcement for installation on brick, block or timber-framed walls.

The integrated LED is non-replaceable and rated for approximately 25,000 hours of operation, equivalent to around nine years of use at three hours per evening. The fixture operates on 100-240V mains voltage, accommodating both UK and international supply without requiring a transformer. The LED is not dimmable.
