Description

This light blue photo frame trades straight sides for a soft, wiggling edge, giving a favourite picture a gentle and playful outline. Inside the light blue border sits a mount printed with a close floral pattern of leaves and blooms in blush, cream and soft taupe. A single rectangular window in the mount takes a 7 x 5in photograph standing upright. The whole frame measures 35.6cm tall, 25.6cm wide and 2cm deep, and it is made from MDF and metal.

It can stand on its own or hang on a wall, so it settles easily into most rooms. Stand it on a chest of drawers, a bedside table, a bookshelf or a sideboard in the living room. You could also hang it in a hallway or bedroom, where a little colour and pattern will be enjoyed every day. The light blue is soft enough to sit happily beside white, cream, pale greens and natural wood. It suits a family portrait, a cherished snapshot from a special day or a favourite picture of someone you love. The 7 x 5in window is a popular print size that is easy to have printed.

Turn it over and you will find a black backing held in place by turn clips, a fold-out stand for setting it on a surface and fittings for hanging it on a wall. The stand lets the frame lean back at a gentle angle, and the slim 2cm depth keeps it neat on a narrow shelf or close to the wall. To care for it, dust it with a soft dry cloth. If it needs more, wipe it gently with a barely damp cloth and then dry it. We think it makes a lovely gift with a printed photograph already in place. You could also slip in a portrait of your own and give it a spot where it catches the eye.
