Description

The Azzinano is a rectangular LED outdoor wall light in silver. Its squared head sits forward of a backplate, and a round motion sensor is set into the plate beneath it. The body is zinc-plated steel and the diffuser is white plastic, so the light leaves through a soft, even panel rather than a bare point. It is 18.5cm wide and 11.5cm high, and it projects 12.5cm from the wall. Two integrated LEDs, each rated at 5.6W and 700lm, give a warm white light at 3000K. With an IP44 rating it is protected from splashing water, so it can live outdoors on a house wall.

Because it pairs a motion sensor with a dusk-to-dawn sensor, it suits a front door, a side passage or the wall beside a garden gate. It gives you light when someone arrives and leaves the wall dark the rest of the night. The dusk-to-dawn sensor keeps it dark through daylight, and the motion sensor brings it to life as you approach after dark, so nobody is left fumbling for a key or a switch. It can also be mounted on a corner, which is handy where a path turns around the side of the house and you want the light where the two walls meet. It suits anyone who wants porch lighting that looks after itself.

The silver finish over zinc-plated steel gives a clean, modern look against render, brick or timber cladding. The LEDs are integrated, so there is no bulb to change. The light is not dimmable, so it is not one for a dimmer switch. It runs on 220-240V mains at 50/60Hz, carries energy class E and weighs 1.335KG packed. As a wired-in mains light, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions are available as a download. Before you fix it, we suggest allowing for the 12.5cm projection so the head clears any door frame or porch canopy.
