Aurexis 1m LED Floating Ring Alabaster Chandelier - Soft White

The Aurexis is a 1000mm circular pendant light formed from a continuous ring of natural Spanish alabaster with an 80mm section depth. An integrated 3000K LED runs around the inner face of the ring, with the alabaster itself acting as the diffuser. Three slim steel suspension cables drop from the ceiling to the ring, with the power cable concealed within one of them, giving the impression that the alabaster halo is floating freely overhead.

Designed for open-plan rooms, dining tables, kitchen islands and stairwell voids where the full 1m diameter can be read from below, the Aurexis works best in spaces with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above. The suspension cables are adjustable on installation, allowing the ring to be positioned 700-900mm above a dining table or island, or higher in double-height spaces where it reads as a sculptural object.

Each section of the ring is cut from natural alabaster, so the veining, cloudy mineral patterns and tonal variation differ across individual pieces. When the LED is on, these internal patterns become visible through the stone, giving the lit ring a soft, layered character rather than a uniform glow. The soft white frame and concealed metal structure keep the focus on the alabaster, with no visible fixings interrupting the circular form.

What size room suits the Aurexis?

The 1m diameter ring works best above dining tables of 1.8m or longer, kitchen islands of similar length, or in open-plan living areas where the full circle can be seen from below. Ceiling heights of 2.7m or above give the suspension cables enough length to position the ring at a comfortable viewing height.

Is the LED replaceable?

The LED is integrated into the ring rather than using a removable bulb. Integrated LEDs are rated for tens of thousands of operating hours, but if the LED ever needs servicing this should be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Does each ring look the same?

No. The alabaster is natural Spanish stone, so the veining, mineral clouding and tonal variation are unique to each piece. When unlit the ring reads as a soft white halo; when lit the internal patterns of the stone become visible through the surface.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Alabaster is porous and softer than marble, so avoid household sprays, polishes and chemical cleaners. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but do not soak the stone.
