Description

The Aurevon is an 800mm circular chandelier built around a ring of eight vertically oriented Spanish alabaster panels, held within a copper-finished metal framework. Each panel sits between a pair of polished copper-tone metal fins, giving the fitting an alternating rhythm of warm metallic reflection and translucent pale stone around its full 360-degree circumference. The chandelier takes 8 x E14 bulbs (sold separately), with each lamp positioned behind an alabaster panel so the stone itself acts as the diffuser.

Designed for dining tables, large entrance halls and open-plan living rooms, the 800mm diameter suits dining tables of 1.6m or longer and rooms with ceiling heights of 2.6m and above. The chandelier is suspended from four slender steel cables that rise to a circular ceiling plate, allowing the drop to be adjusted on installation to set the ring 700-800mm above a dining surface. The compact 280mm overall height keeps the fitting visually low-profile despite the wide diameter.

The natural Spanish alabaster panels each show distinct mineral veining and tonal variation, so no two panels look identical when lit from within. Stainless steel structural components hold the ring true and maintain even spacing between the eight stations, while the copper finish on the visible metalwork warms the cool tone of the alabaster. The combination of pale translucent stone and copper-toned metal pairs comfortably with both contemporary and transitional interiors.

What bulbs does the Aurevon take, and are they included?

The chandelier takes 8 x E14 (small Edison screw) bulbs, which are sold separately. For warm diffused light through the alabaster, most users pair this with E14 LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K. Higher wattages will increase the brightness reaching each stone panel.

What size dining table or room does it suit?

The 800mm diameter suits dining tables of 1.6m or longer when centred above the surface, and works well in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.6m and above. The 280mm overall height keeps the fitting visually compact despite the wide ring diameter.

Is the suspension drop adjustable?

Yes. The four steel suspension cables can be shortened on installation to set the chandelier at the required height. Above a dining table, the underside of the fitting typically sits 700-800mm above the surface.

Will the alabaster panels look identical to the photograph?

Each panel is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between individual pieces and between fittings. The product image shows one example; your chandelier will share the same form and finish but the stone pattern will be unique to it.
