Description

The Aurelio is an 800mm-diameter chandelier built around a central brushed brass stem with eight curved arms radiating outward in a symmetrical circle. Each arm holds a 100mm spherical shade cut from natural Spanish alabaster, with a G9 lamp holder seated inside the globe. Total fitting height is 500mm before the chain and canopy, which add adjustable drop on installation.

Designed as a central ceiling feature for dining rooms, hallways, lounges and bedrooms with ceiling heights of 2.6m or higher, the Aurelio suits rooms where an 800mm-wide fitting can hang without crowding furniture or doorways. Above a dining table, the chandelier typically sits 750-850mm above the surface; in a hallway or lounge it works centred over a seating area or stairwell. The brass canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses.

Each alabaster globe carries its own pattern of veining and tonal variation, so the eight shades read as a related set rather than identical copies. The brushed brass arms curve down from the stem before sweeping back up to meet each globe, giving the frame a softer line than rigid horizontal-arm chandeliers. With eight G9 sources lit through translucent stone, the Aurelio puts out a warm spread of ambient light rather than directed task light.

The chandelier takes eight G9 capsule bulbs, one per globe. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair the Aurelio with warm-white G9 LEDs at 2700K-3000K and 3-4W per bulb to match the warm tone of the alabaster and brass.

What ceiling height does it need?

The fitting itself is 500mm tall, plus the chain and canopy. The chain length is adjustable on installation, so the chandelier can be hung at the correct height for ceilings of 2.6m and above. Above a dining table it typically sits 750-850mm above the surface.

Does each alabaster globe look the same?

No. Each globe is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between individual shades. The eight globes read as a matched set rather than identical copies, which is a feature of the natural stone.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Wipe each globe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Alabaster is porous and softer than marble, so avoid household sprays, polishes and chemical cleaners. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but do not soak the stone.
