Description

The Aurelio is a 6-light pendant built from a cluster of slim polished brass tubes finished in warm gold, suspended from a single canopy on a 150cm black cable. The tubes are cut to staggered lengths and grouped into a compact cylindrical silhouette measuring 13cm in diameter by 41cm tall. Six G9 bulbs (sold separately) sit concealed within the cluster, casting light down between the tubes and reflecting along their polished inner faces.

The narrow 13cm diameter and modest 41cm drop suit positions where a wider pendant would feel oversized: above a bedside table as a hanging reading light, over a hallway console, flanking a kitchen island in a pair or run of three, or above a stairwell landing. The 150cm cable can be shortened on installation to set the fitting at the right height for the room. Single G9 capsule bulbs allow the light output to be tuned to the application — warmer 2700K bulbs for bedrooms, brighter 3000K for kitchens.

The tubes are solid brass with a polished gold finish that reflects warmth from surrounding light, and the staggered lengths give the pendant a sculptural quality when viewed from the side. The contrast between the black fabric-effect cable and the gold cluster gives the fitting a defined, architectural line at ceiling level. At approximately 4.5kg the Aurelio is heavier than a typical decorative pendant of its size, so the ceiling fixing should be rated accordingly.

What bulbs does the Aurelio take?

The pendant takes 6 x G9 capsule bulbs, sold separately. G9 LEDs are widely available in warm white (2700K) through cool white (4000K) and in clear or frosted finishes. For bedside or hallway use, warmer 2700K bulbs at 2-3W each are typical.

Can it be hung over a kitchen island?

Yes. The 13cm diameter is narrow enough to use a pair or run of three Aurelios in a line above a kitchen island, spaced 40-60cm apart, rather than a single wide pendant. The 150cm cable allows the drop to be set so the base of the pendant sits 70-90cm above the worktop.

Is the cable adjustable?

The black cable is supplied at 150cm and can be shortened on installation to set the pendant at the desired height for the ceiling. Adjustment should be carried out by a qualified electrician.

How heavy is it and what fixing is needed?

The Aurelio weighs approximately 4.5kg. The ceiling fixing point and any plasterboard fixings used should be rated to safely support this weight. For solid masonry ceilings a standard fixing is sufficient; for plasterboard, use a load-rated cavity fixing or fix into a joist.
