Description
The Aurelio is a 10-light alabaster chandelier built around a central brushed brass column, with ten curved arms extending outward in a two-tier radial arrangement. Each arm terminates in a 100mm spherical shade cut from natural Spanish alabaster, lit by a G9 bulb (sold separately). The fitting measures 1000mm in diameter and 500mm in height, with a chain suspension above the brass stem for adjustable drop on installation.
Designed for dining rooms, hallways and open-plan living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.7m or higher, the Aurelio works as the primary decorative fitting in rooms of roughly 4m x 4m or larger. The 1m diameter calls for a sizeable footprint above a dining table or central floor area, and the chain suspension allows the chandelier to sit 700-800mm above a table surface or 2.1-2.3m above floor level in entrance halls.
The alabaster globes show natural mineral veining and tonal variation, with each sphere cut from a different section of stone so no two are identical. When the G9 lamps are switched on, light passes through the alabaster rather than around it, turning each globe into a glowing object in its own right. The brushed brass arms curve downward from the upper tier and outward from the lower tier, giving the chandelier a layered profile that reads differently from straight-on, from below, and from a raised vantage point.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Aurelio take?
The chandelier takes ten G9 capsule bulbs, sold separately. Most buyers pair it with warm-white LED G9 lamps between 2.5-4W and 2700K-3000K, which gives a soft glow through the alabaster without overheating the stone.
Is each alabaster globe identical?
No. Each 100mm globe is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, translucency and tonal variation differ between individual spheres. This is a feature of the natural stone, not a defect, and becomes most visible when the chandelier is lit.
What ceiling height does it suit?
The Aurelio is 500mm tall plus chain suspension, so a minimum ceiling height of 2.7m is recommended. Above a dining table the chandelier typically sits 700-800mm above the surface; in an entrance hall it should hang at 2.1-2.3m above floor level. The chain can be shortened during fitting.
How is the alabaster cleaned?
Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe each globe with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the stone and do not use household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners.
