The Atla is a 500mm semi-flush ceiling light built around a circular polished chrome frame with black crystal accents and cascading strands of faceted Asfour crystal suspended beneath. Six G9 bulbs (sold separately) sit within the frame, casting light through multiple tiers of crystal positioned at varying drop heights to create a layered, dimensional effect when lit.

Designed for living rooms, dining areas, entrance halls and bedrooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher, the Atla provides ambient illumination through crystal refraction rather than direct downlight. The 360mm total drop from ceiling to lowest crystal point positions the fixture within the upper third of a standard-height room, keeping the visual weight high without intruding on head clearance. The semi-flush mount fits directly to a UK ceiling rose with no visible chain or rod.

The black crystal spheres are interspersed with clear faceted crystal drops throughout the cascading arrangement, creating tonal contrast that emphasises the brilliance of the clear Asfour crystal under both daylight and artificial light. A clear acrylic rim runs around the outer edge of the chrome canopy, adding depth to the circular silhouette and intensifying reflections around the perimeter. The polished chrome finish provides a mirror-like surface that amplifies light output, while the black accents ground the composition and prevent the fixture from appearing overly bright or clinical.

The fixture is dimmable when paired with dimmable G9 LED or halogen bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. Each of the six G9 sockets accepts bulbs up to 33W, though most users fit 3-5W LED bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) to balance light output with energy efficiency. Is the Atla suitable for low ceilings?

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when paired with dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible trailing-edge dimmer switch. The fixture itself does not include dimming electronics, so dimmer compatibility depends entirely on the bulbs chosen.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off the power and allow the bulbs to cool. Wipe each crystal strand with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid soaking the metal frame or wiring. Do not use household sprays or polishes on the Asfour crystal.
