Atla 6 Light Crystal Semi-Flush Ceiling Light - Polished Chrome

The Atla is a 500mm diameter semi-flush ceiling light built around six G9 bulb fittings arranged within a polished chrome circular frame, with multiple tiers of Asfour cut crystal strands suspended below in a cascading arrangement. The crystal pieces are positioned at varying heights to create a dome-shaped silhouette that drops 360mm from the ceiling, with a clear acrylic rim around the chrome base adding definition to the upper edge.

Designed for living rooms, dining areas and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the semi-flush profile gives decorative presence without the full drop of a traditional chandelier. The six G9 bulbs (sold separately, max 33W each) sit hidden within the chrome canopy, directing light down through the crystal tiers where it refracts and multiplies across the individual facets. Dimmer-compatible when paired with dimmable G9 LED or halogen bulbs, allowing output to be adjusted for different times of day.

Each tier of Asfour crystal is spaced to allow light to pass between the strands rather than being blocked, so the fitting acts as both ambient and decorative source. The polished chrome finish reflects surrounding light even when the fitting is switched off, and the crystal catches daylight from windows to add movement throughout the day. At 5.5kg the fitting requires secure ceiling fixing into a joist or suitable anchor point, and the 500mm diameter makes it suitable for rooms 4m x 4m or larger where the scale can be absorbed without dominating the space.

What bulbs does the Atla take?

The fitting takes six G9 capsule bulbs, each up to 33W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with G9 LED bulbs between 3-5W and 2700K-3000K warm white for ambient lighting. Halogen G9 bulbs are also compatible but run hotter and consume more energy.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when fitted with dimmable G9 bulbs and connected to a compatible dimmer switch. The fitting itself has no built-in dimming electronics, so dimmer compatibility depends entirely on the bulb choice and the dimmer module installed on the circuit.

What ceiling height does it need?

The 360mm drop from ceiling to lowest crystal point works best in rooms with 2.4m ceiling height or above. In rooms with 2.3m ceilings the fitting may feel low over walkways, but can still work when centred over a dining table or seating area where headroom beneath is less critical.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off and allow bulbs to cool fully before cleaning. Wipe individual crystal strands with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For more thorough cleaning, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water works, but avoid soaking the metal frame or getting water into the bulb sockets. Do not use chemical sprays or polishes on the Asfour crystal.
