Description

The Astra is a single-light pendant built around a 150mm globe of natural Spanish alabaster, suspended from a brushed brass cap and slim brass stem on a black fabric flex. The shade takes a single G9 lamp (sold separately) and the alabaster itself acts as the diffuser, softening the light into an even, low-glare wash through the stone.

The compact globe and slim suspension suit a wide range of positions: above bedside tables in a pair, hung in threes or fives along a kitchen island, dropped over a console or hallway niche, or used singly as a reading light beside an armchair. The pendant fits standard UK ceiling roses, and the cable can be shortened on installation to set the drop at the height needed for the room.

Because each globe is cut and shaped from natural alabaster, the veining, mineral traces and translucency vary between individual pieces — no two Astras look identical when lit. The brushed brass cap and stem give the fitting a warm metallic accent that pairs comfortably with both pale, neutral interiors and warmer wood-and-stone schemes.
